Valued Gym Members on fortnightly direct debit payments. 

This is an important notice we must inform you of, regarding an upcoming increase in our membership pricing structure, effective from 1st September 2023.

We understand that any price adjustment can be challenging, and we want to ensure transparency in our communication. 

After careful consideration and analysis of various factors, we have decided to increase the price of our gym memberships by a low $1.00 per week for all direct debit type members.

There are several reasons behind this decision:

1. Inflation: As you may be aware, there has been an 8% inflation rate in the economy, which has affected our operational costs, including utilities and maintenance.

2. Staffing Wages: We believe in providing fair compensation to our dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to ensure you have an exceptional gym experience. To align with the fair work commission’s increase in wages from July 1 this year, and to maintain the quality of our team, we need to adjust our pricing structure.

3. Supplier Charges: Our commitment to offering a respectable service to our members involves partnering with reliable suppliers. Unfortunately, our suppliers have also increased their charges, prompting us to review our pricing to sustain the high standards you expect.

4. Facility Improvements: We are committed to continuously enhancing your gym experience. To meet this objective, we are investing in new equipment, and facility improvements. These investments will enable us to provide you with a facility to value training at.

We value your loyalty and want to offer you an opportunity to save money if you wish to do so. If you are currently on a direct debit membership plan, you have the option to switch to a Pay-in-Full (PIF) membership before September 1st. 

Our PIF pricing has also increased for new members from September 1st but for existing members switching to, or renewing an existing PIF, we have extended effect date of the price increase out to October 1st. This will allow you to secure the current pricing for an extended period.

We understand that change can be unsettling, but please know that this price adjustment will enable us to maintain the high standards you expect from our gym and continue to provide an exceptional fitness experience.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this price adjustment, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer service team.  Our direct debit agreement states that in the event of any pay increase, a member can request cancellation which will be processed immediately, and not subject to any notice period, usually 28 days.

We certainly hope you choose not to leave XS Fitness, especially considering the small $1.00 a week increase.
